This site offers a “Classroom Pack” with all of the materials needed to introduce teachers and students to the art of video production. The materials are designed for elementary teachers with very little experience in video production.

The Classroom Pack includes an administrator binder, a teacher lesson plan, teacher powerpoint slides with embedded videos, and a hard copy of the workbook.

Additional hard copies of the student workbook are available.

There are currently two levels of trainings available and must be taken in consecutive order: Introduction to Producer Training I and Introduction to Producer Training II.

Level 1. Introduction to Producer Training Part 1 is designed to introduce students to the role of video producer of short form segments. Students will take part in exercises on creativity, story development, and learn the steps involved in producing short segments. This course meets primarily as a virtual course with the last two meetings in person. This course is beginner level for new students.

Level 2. Introduction to Producer Training Part II is specifically designed for the students who completed level 1.  This course would focus on producer training and include a topic brainstorming session, team building experiences, guides for creating a project description, scheduling guests and scheduling production. This is a hybrid course that meets virtually and in person.
